Prepaid AWS Cloud allows customers access to all 175 services on AWS, but with careful management of defined budgets for a project by pre-purchase credits to the platform via Sparkle. Instead of pay-as-you-go, which allows for cost overruns to occur, a defined budget stays within a project's requirements.
Services are self-managed via the Sparkle Cloud Management Platform (CMP), making it easier than ever to spin up a new VM, add extra storage, or increase networking services from within your personal dashboard. Sparkle’s CMP, particularly the CloudCheckr instance within it, allows you to define and set your own alerts. Based on an event like reaching a cost threshold, such as consuming 90% of the prepaid value, you can set an alert that will notify you by email to replenish your credits. You can customize the notification email with your own text as desired. Your remaining credits are always visible from within the dashboard so that you can stay on target. When you need more credits, check out the size of the package you require. You will be able to see all your services, expiration dates, access rights and monitor usage directly from the dashboard. When 100% of costs are consumed, you will receive information about how to retrieve your data.
