Product Description
KOMPSAT-3 satellite was developed by KARI (Korea Aerospace Research Institute) and launched in 2012 to continue the observation program of the KOMPSAT mission. With 0.5 meter resolution for panchromatic and 2-meter resolution for multispectral data (R, G, B, and NIR), KOMPSAT-3 is best for agricultural applications, land and urban planning, natural disasters management, geological monitoring, and bathymetry. 14 bits/pixel simplifies the interpretation of targets under shadow and classification accuracy. 3D models can be generated using single-pass stereo imaging. KOMPSAT-3 has a revisit rate of 3 days.
KOMPSAT-3 imagery comes in many customizations. Select between two delivery options: the pan-sharpened set or the bundle of the panchromatic (PAN) and the 4 multispectral (MS) channels. Custom product configurations are also possible: choose between different data acquisition modes, including stereo imagery to derive 3D models, repetitive acquisitions for monitoring, or multi-user licenses for larger enterprises.
